Dr. Cami Ferris-Wong is a native Californian.  She was the Valedictorian of Newbury Park High School as well as the Female Athlete of the Year her senior year.  She chose to attend UC Santa Barbara where she graduated with High Honors and obtained a B.S. degree in Biopsychology.  During her years as a Gaucho, she developed an interest in dentistry and worked part-time as a dental assistant in a local endodontic office.  While in dental school at UC San Francisco, she became more passionate about the specialty of endodontics and decided to pursue a post-doctoral degree.  Boston University has always been well-known for their endodontic program, and Cami spent two years there under the tutelage of Dr. Herbert Schilder, the father of modern endodontics, to receive her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS).  Cami then spent extra time and effort in her field to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2009.  She is currently the only female endodontist in Santa Barbara County that is Board Certified in Endodontics. 

Upon moving back to Santa Barbara in 2000 to begin practicing, Cami quickly became involved in the community. She worked with the Junior League to help build the new Children's Downtown Library.  She aided the Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics in Fund Development to complete the Eastside Neighborhood Dental Clinic and support the programs there for underserved patients.  She served on the local Dental Society Board for several years and continues to give to the Dental Society Foundation and their Mobile Dental Clinic.  She is currently involved in the Women's Fund.  She is a co-founder of Santa Barbara Women in Dentistry, a Founding Board Member of the Schilder Institute for the Advancement of Endodontics, and is in the local chapter of the Spears Dental Study Club.  She has also served for two years as PTA President at her local elementary school and is in National Charity League with her oldest daughter.

Dr. Ferris-Wong is married to Dr. Derrick Wong, who is also an endodontist with practices in Lompoc and Solvang.  They have three daughters, Waverly, Amelyse and Quincy, who keep them busy with their sports and musical pursuits.  Cami enjoys reading, volunteering, beach volleyball, running and golf. 

Barbara has worked with Dr. Ferris-Wong since 2013, and has been involved in the healthcare field for many years.  She brings a warmth and grace to the office that makes patients and referring offices feel welcome and like they are a part of our family.  Outside the office, Barbara spends time with her family and enjoys Polynesian dancing and culture.

Brittany has been Dr. Ferris-Wong's chairside assistant since 2011.  She completed her Registered Dental Assistant Program at Allan Hancock College.  Brittany is not only an amazing technical dental assistant, but she also creates an environment where the patient feels comfortable and well-cared for.  Brittany has two daughters and a son and enjoys spending time with her family.

Alma joined Dr. Ferris-Wong in 2021. She trained to be a dental assistant at Career Care Institute in Oxnard. She has worked as a chair-side dental assistant and front desk. Alma has a very professional and friendly demeanor.  She has a daughter named Genesis and a Siberian Husky named Toby. She enjoys reading, indoor cycling and spending time with her family.
